Coaching Mentorship – Summer Class

May 23 @ 10:00 am - August 22 @ 12:30 pm

$600

Build your confidence and competence in coaching through a process of deliberate practice with targeted feedback. This coaching practicum class allows you to put your coaching skills to work in real life coaching conversations, followed by immediate feedback. Let by professional coach, David Smith, participants will receive personalized mentoring from David’s many hours of coaching and training experience.

Coaching is a skill which is best learned through practice with feedback. As pointed out by Cal Newport in his book, Deep Work, outstanding performance isn’t a result of natural talent, but rather hard work in the form of deliberate practice. He goes on to define deliberate practice as “practice designed to improve a specific skill using intense focus, repetition and continuous feedback.”

This class will be held to a maximum of 12 participants. Having a basic foundation in coaching is required and critical for participants to gain the maximum from this class. So, to qualify for this class participants must have successfully completed the 100 course – Foundations in Coaching.
