A significant part of the destiny of every follower of Jesus is to be transformed into His likeness. As Christian life coaches we have a remarkable opportunity to come alongside other apprentices of Jesus and empower them to realize their amazing potential in Him. This 13-week training course will delve into the subject of how coaching can enhance conversations with others to help them grow spiritually.
The first six sessions of this course will focus on deepening the student’s understanding of the coach approach and the topic of spiritual formation in Christ. The remaining six sessions will focus on various tools and concepts coaches can use to help clients become aware of where God is initiating change and how they can intentionally engage the various means God uses to develop the lives of his children.
Cost includes a complete Participant’s Manual. The following two books will be used for this course and are not included in the cost. They should be purchased before the start of the course:
- Faith Coaching – A Conversational Approach to Helping Others Move Forward in Faith, by Chad Hall, Bill Copper, and Kathryn Mc Elveen
- Vision, Intention, Means – A Model for Personal Development in Christ by David Jacob Smith
Prerequisite: Since this is an advance course in the CTC program participants must have completed Foundations in Coaching.
